Antimicrobial efficacy determination

Efficiency of disinfectants and antiseptics is validated by various suspension or regimen tests, including testing for antimicrobial activity of non-leaching antimicrobially treated materials and testing of diffusable antimicrobials or antibiotics impregnated on discs or other materials. In addition, preservative properties of pharmaceutical preparations are tested by challenging the preparations with selected microorganisms. According to the physical state of the product, modified test procedures are available. All tests are performed according to national and international standards and guidelines.
